The honing tube of the oil cylinder adopts processing technology

The honing tube of the oil cylinder is processed by rolling. Due to the residual compressive stress left on the surface layer, it helps to close the small cracks on the surface and hinders the expansion of erosion. Thereby improving the surface corrosion resistance and delaying the generation or expansion of fatigue cracks, thus enhancing the fatigue strength of the grinding oil cylinder tube. By rolling forming, a cold work hardening layer is formed on the rolling surface, reducing the elastic and plastic deformation of the contact surface of the grinding pair, thereby improving the wear resistance of the inner wall of the grinding cylinder tube and avoiding burns caused by grinding. After rolling, the reduction of surface roughness value can improve the fitting properties.
Rolling processing is a type of chip free machining that utilizes the plastic deformation of metal at room temperature to flatten the micro roughness of the workpiece surface, thereby achieving the goal of changing the surface structure, mechanical properties, shape, and size. Therefore, this method can achieve both finishing and strengthening simultaneously, which cannot be achieved by grinding.

Rolling processing principle: It is a pressure finishing process that utilizes the cold plasticity characteristics of metals at room temperature. Rolling tools are used to apply a certain amount of pressure to the surface of the workpiece, causing plastic flow of the metal on the surface of the workpiece and filling it into the original residual low concave valleys, thereby reducing the roughness value of the workpiece surface. Due to the plastic deformation of the surface metal being rolled, the surface structure undergoes cold hardening and grain refinement, forming a dense fibrous structure and residual stress layer. This increases the hardness and strength, thereby improving the wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and fit of the workpiece surface. Rolling is a non cutting plastic machining method.
